Last weekend I had myself a faux little Christmas with my family, we all descended on Banbury (meeting there as it’s roughly half way between my London home and my parents home of Birmingham). It was wonderful, we took over a B&B for the weekend, had two huge roast dinners at two very lovely pubs and pretty much took over one half of the pub on Saturday, sitting by the tree with a roaring fire going, it was idyllic and much needed family fun. On Saturday when most of the family were present we went to a quaint little pub, set in the most beautiful little village Dave and I had to get some outfit pictures in. Might I add, it was the windiest day ever! I nearly lost my hat on a couple of occasions – you might be thinking, why wear a hat on such a windy day? Well it did a great job of keeping my hair down and stopping it from (well mostly) blowing all over the place!
I think this Victoriana style dress will be my Christmas day dress, it’s suitably dressy and suitably roomy – perfect for fitting those extra roast potatoes in! I picked it up from ASOS on Cyber Monday and got a rather nice discount on it too!
What I’m wearing –
